Vault Restoration was founded by a collector for collectors. The standard is simple: every card that enters the atelier is treated with the same care, precision and respect as a high-end mechanical object - under microscope, in a controlled environment, by a single specialist from start to finish.

From collector to specialist.
The atelier began the way most serious endeavors do - with frustration. Watching a high-value card return from a grading service with a grade lower than expected, knowing that careful preparation could have changed the outcome. Vault Restoration is the service we wished existed: precise, transparent, and built around the collector.
02 - Philosophy
Precision over volume.
We don't process cards - we restore them. Each submission is handled individually under controlled lighting and dedicated microscope time. No assembly line, no shortcuts, no compromise. The card you send is the only card on the table.
03 - Expertise
Trained on the details that matter.
Our expertise is built on years of hands-on restoration of vintage, modern, holographic and high-value trading cards, combined with continuous study of grading criteria from PSA, CGC, BGS and SGC. We know exactly which imperfections graders penalize - and which can be corrected without ever being detected.
04 - Approach
Microscope-driven, always.
Imperfections invisible to the naked eye determine grading outcomes. By working at 10× to 40× magnification, we identify and treat the details that separate a 9 from a 10: micro-scratches, surface contamination, edge whitening, indentations and humidity-related deformation.

Every card, the same protocol.
Receipt and photographic intake → microscope assessment → tailored restoration plan → controlled-environment treatment → quality control under magnification → final report with before/after documentation → tracked and insured return. You receive a restoration summary report with every order.
